Listen to what your body is telling you and move accordingly. Please do not practise if you have a cold or flu, as you risk harm to yourself and others around you. NEW TO YOGA?
-
Absolutely!
MELLOW + GROUNDED + AWAKE classes are great starting points for beginners as the pace is slower. Please let the teacher know you are new and always practise at your own pace.
-
How often you practice yoga depends on the results you're looking for and your current life circumstances.
If you're in a season of high stress, overwhelm, or burnout, you may actually need more yoga to support your nervous system, but finding time could be a challenge. In this case, start with something simple, like deep breathing at home or a weekly STILL, MELLOW, or GROUNDED class to give your mind and body a break.
If you're focusing on improving flexibility or strength, 2-3 times per week is a great goal. Try the STRONG, AWAKE, BALANCED classes!
Consistency over time will help you see progress without overwhelming your schedule.
For those looking to make more significant lifestyle changes, replacing old habits with yoga can be a powerful way to reshape your routine. In this case, aiming for 4-5 classes per week, even if they vary in intensity, can help you establish a strong, mindful practice and experience deeper transformation over time. Ultimately, it’s about finding the balance that fits your current needs.
