Originally from Northern Ontario, Jennifer holds a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology from the University of Toronto and is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. With nearly 20 years of experience, she has supported clients through trauma, anxiety, stress, and relationship challenges, drawing from her work with teens and adults in various settings, including a national crisis line and student support at York University.
Jennifer’s therapeutic approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and collaborative. She believes that each individual is unique and tailors her therapy to meet their specific needs. Using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness techniques, she integrates her experience as a yoga teacher into her sessions, offering a holistic approach to nervous system regulation. Jennifer views the connection between body and mind as essential to healing and growth, empowering clients to explore their inner landscapes through both movement and stillness.
In every session, Jennifer aims to create a safe, compassionate space where clients feel heard and supported in their journey toward wellness.
