Each day is anchored on a morning and evening yoga practice, thoughtfully structured around the seven elements of rest. Megan, our Registered Massage Therapist, will provide hands-on adjustments, adding an additional layer of comfort and personal care. We will seamlessly incorporate journaling and meditation into our practice, fostering inner reflection and personal growth. It's an immersive and transformative experience that extends beyond physical postures, inviting you to explore the depths of your soul and emerge with a profound sense of rejuvenation and tranquility.

We believe in the nourishing power of food in promoting rest and rejuvenation. Fresh, seasonal, farm-to-table meals are created by our local chef.
Note: each house has a fully-equipped kitchen with pots, pans, coffee machines for relaxed self-catered snacking. We will definitely be hitting up the local markets!
This retreat schedule leaves one evening/dinner open so that we can go experience a local restaurant and have your own choice of what you eat.
[Any additional snacks, meals, travel, etc. that are not a part of the retreat schedule will not be included]

Discover Comporta: home to a port balanced on stilts, untouched by time and suspended between sky and sea. This small fishing port is built on a jumble of rough-and-ready landing stages made of openwork planks that rest on stilts.
Chill at the beach or poolside.
Due to its proximity to Spain and North Africa, Alentejo is a region with a strong historical past that has long been coveted. Explore its fortified medieval villages along the route of the castles. The magnificent city of Évora is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Surf Lessons: Many different options for surfing and many types of water sports.
Cycling through rice fields: Pedal through Comporta’s verdant rice fields on a bike, in which the mild rustle of leaves and the perfume of blooming nature surround you.
Taste the Region’s Wine: With deep reds and aromatic whites, Alentejo wines reflect the region’s diverse terroir, offering a taste of Mediterranean excellence.

We will delve into the concept of holistic nourishment, integrating yoga with practices tailored to provide rest in seven distinct styles. Our focus will extend beyond physical postures to include nourishing foods that replenish both body and soul. Expect a spacious itinerary featuring 1-2 daily movement practices, community meals, and plenty of time to roam + explore the area.
-
Each retreat schedule is unique, but all will have a minimum of one practice per day. Most days include a second practice or workshop. Our practices range from 60-90 minutes and include movement, breath work, meditation, and journaling.

Of course! Yes! Absolutely!
You can join alone, with friends, with family, with a partner, or however you like. Many people join alone - and we always love to watch the friendships that build throughout the course of the week together.
