Creative Hearts Club: body mapping

  • 101-250 Carlaw Avenue Toronto Canada (map)

This workshop offers a unique blend of movement, meditative art practices, and creative expression to explore your inner emotional landscape. Using the therapeutic techniques of body mapping and bilateral drawing, participants will embark on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and empowerment.

Key Highlights:

  • Guided Bilateral Drawing: A meditative practice where participants draw with both hands simultaneously. This method engages the whole brain, helping to release control, reconnect with the self, and regulate the nervous system. It’s a calming, intuitive practice that brings balance to the mind and body.

  • Body Mapping: Using an outline of the body as a canvas, participants will create mixed-media artwork with collage, color, and other materials. This process allows for exploring and expressing one’s inner world—emotions, dreams, and hopes—through a somatic lens.

  • Movement Integration: Gentle, guided movement practices will help participants connect with their bodies, grounding them in the present moment and opening pathways for creative expression.

What You’ll Take Away:

  • A deeper understanding of your inner emotional and somatic landscape.

  • Creative tools to regulate the nervous system and foster self-expression.

  • Personal artwork that reflects your journey, hopes, and dreams.
